Kudu 0 Report post Posted January 5, 2018 Just got back from Key Largo and spent some time fishing. I go down there 4 to 5 times per year. Fishing has been good since the storm. The mackeral bite has been hot. Snapper is good. Redfish and snook have moved to new areas since the storm and are not just in the park. Shark is good. I always fish from a boat so cant help you there on shore fishing. I just got back on the 2cnd. I fished the reef and patch reefs but not with the fly. I caught mangrove, yellowtail, vermillion and mutton snapper; red, black and cherry grouper; almaco, kingfish, cero mackeral, and other assorted fishes. South of Marathon is still recovering from the hurricane. Big Pine and Cudjoe are in very bad shape. Good luck!
