Fly_guy_stu 0 Report post Posted May 1, 2007 A killer pattern from the inventor of the Ally's Shrimp Hook: Salmon single/double/treble (I used a Ken Sawada but it looks even better on a Partridge Salar Double - the silver plated model) Tail: An even mix of orange and yellow bucktail with a few strands of your favourite flash material (I used krinkle mirrorflash) Body: Front half black floss, rear half silver tinsel (I used holographic silver) Rib: Oval silver or silver wire (it's down to preferance really) Wing: Black squirrel with a few strands of flash Hackle: Orange wrapped through yellow tied as a collar It should be self explainatory but feel free to ask any questions. Now go get it wet!

Fly_guy_stu 0 Report post Posted May 2, 2007 It's no problem, I was tying the fly and just grabbed the camera and took some snaps. The tail doesnt look so evenly mixed because of the background but it is evenly mixed. It really is a killer fly! Stu
