Fred H. 0 Report post Posted September 27, 2008 Thanks Mike, beetles are fun and there are so many different shapes and colors . I made a universal mold for the elytra after I finished this one . The elytra for this one is made of swiss straw covered in 2 coats of epoxy.I think with about 6 different elytra molds I could cover just about every beetle with a few exceptions. Then I could quickly and easily tie up an army of multi colored beetles.
Fred H. 0 Report post Posted September 29, 2008 This beetle will also be on the cd. Once you can tie this beetle you have the basis to tie any beetle.
