BigDaddyHub 0 Report post Posted January 31, 2010 Frank, I said it before, I think it would be the perfect companion to the Tellico on any Appalachian stream. Could be a new classic before you know it. Certainly gonna tie a few for my own mountain boxes.
David Legg 0 Report post Posted January 31, 2010 Still love that one. Got a question though... who is Dorthea, and does she know you named a BUG after her?
FlySlinger 0 Report post Posted January 31, 2010 Still love that one. Got a question though... who is Dorthea, and does she know you named a BUG afte David, The Dorthea was named after a small mayfly Ephemerella dorthea found in the Eastern US and the Midwest and great lakes region it is rather Smallish in stature.. Compared to other Sulfurs this Fly it is a Dry fly of #16-#18.....It hatches in May and June and is called the Pale Evening Dun or little Sulfurs an my area....Hence Sweet dorthea was my call or name for this Soft hackle Nymph... Thanks FlySlinger
