Michigan Trout Guy 0 Report post Posted March 28, 2005 Daryn, Love the fly. What type of material is Kreinik? And what does HL twisted mean? Cheers, Brandon
Joe Hard 0 Report post Posted March 28, 2005 Kreineik is a braid, like oval tinsel, it can be found at craft stores, the type I used is called 242 hl and I twisted it tightly. Have a look there are many types and colours. I sometimes use the blending filliament or cord to reinfource peacock herl and to enhance its colour. It comes on spools but is expensive where I get it.
