I had it, cracked all to hell in 2 weeks. must have gotten a bad line.
I went and got a SA GPX line instead, way better.

you are either catching the thread unintentionally and not realizing,
or most likely you have a burr in your bobbin.
try a different bobbin, if thread is still breaking its a crappy thread and you need to chuck it.

cabelas has them, as do kauffmans streamborn and many other mail order places.

c-clamp, i also put a piece of foam under it to stop it from marring.
i like the pedestals, mine is just to light for all the time use.

use a small fan for better vent.
or do it quickly.
another option, if you have a magnifying light then put ur eyes and nose above the magnifier and look through that while you do it. fumes hit the glass...not your eyes.

I heard that cariou hair is a good thing to use for dry flies, Itsis delicate however and is a pain because it flairs so much, But it's supposed to float very well.
Might be somethin to try with a caddis( a caribou caddis)
