    Hook Management

Tiemco hooks usually have the magnets in the packs, those get trimmed and put into my hook boxes. It has saved my butt a few times when i have been fumbling around to get hooks out and dropped the box. If i buy non-Tiemcos i use the advertising magnets and cut them to fit my boxes. I also have one laying under my vise. When i start tying i lay out a certain number of hooks and then when i need another they are right on the magnet where i left them
  4. I just recently saw Corn Huskers at the local Wal Mart too.
  5. Just a quick introduction. My name is Joe, I briefly tied in 7th and 8th grade then drifted away for almost 20 years. About 3 years ago the urge came back real strong. I guess I would consider myself a fly tyer more than a fly fisher since my tying time far exceeds the amount of time i actually get to spend on the water. But i really enjoy the tying aspect so it is all good.
  6. Welcome i am new here myself. I just bought my first Bowtech this year (Justice) and love it.
  7. I use a Renzetti Presentation. I really dont need it, it is way above my skill level but i got one heck of a deal on it from Cabelas Bargain Cave. I went with the intention of buying a Traveller but found the Presentation for <$50 more, i just couldnt pass that up. The good: I love the rotary feature and it holds hooks very well. The bad: old style screw jaws with the rubber band. I might upgrade them someday.
