I have been visiting my local fly shop for the last few years and, just recently they changed over to Raymond C Rumpf & Son thread, the problem I am having is that the thread doesn't have a distinct size on the display or on the spool, how do I determine the size

I am still looking for my first vise and have been looking at the Danvise rotary and was just wondering what everyone thinks about it. Thanks LM

I was refered to this sight by a few people that said any thing that I had questions about I would get an answer here. So here it goes I am looking to get a vise and tools to start and wanted some input as to what brand I may be able to get away with spending less than $100 for all. Any suggestions will be helpful.
