  6. As I looked over my shoulder in time to see the tall grass being knocked down by the rapid approach of whatever was making that blood curdling sound the brown of a life time smashed my deerhair mouse and with a somersault that would rival any gymnast he doubled my six wieght and made a dash for the next pool.
  7. I have a box but if you want to send another one I will send it his way. This is why I love this board. It's a done deal, do you need an envenlope with postage?
  8. Gentlemen I'm going fishing when the ice parts even if I have to tie on one of my ugly flies, so if you want to extend it I have no problem with it. In fact if you want to bring some of the alternates in I'll tie up a few more and send 'em your way!!

  14. I recieved a box full of exotic goodies Saturday I took a few out and a put a few in (I might have drooled a little bit on everything inside but it should dry out ok) I'll send it out on the next leg of it's journey Monday. I will be adding the two new addresses to the list. Mike that possum is nearly perfect I didn't have time to work on it kinda busy with a frozen squirrel right now but my dog did lick part of it clean while I was going thru the other materials!!
  15. I'm now a fan, very impressive! :headbang:
  16. Pat I should have some bugs in the mail by the end of the week, I planned on sending them yesterday but WORK got in the way!!
  17. I fish the blue ribbon stretch up by Montauk, usually the Tan Vat access. The hole I was talking about is right downstream from the edge of the park. Mike Man I've got to make a trip up there this summer I've been fly fishing for about fine years now and haven't got to catch a trout yet
  18. A man could fill a flybox following behind me, but I have found a few to put back myself. Crackleback what part of the current are you fishing, I fished upstream of Van Buren back in the summer, didn't get to fish much but I did catch several nice sunfish. They have an incredible tube hatch on that stretch of the river!!!
  19. I pinch em too, it's alot of trouble to file and I think if you file the coating off that is on most hooks it causes them to rust real quick. Which I usually lose them well before it becomes a real problem, but then I'll cast into a briar patch gaurded by a machetti weilding maniac in a hockey mask if it's a good looking pocket!!!
  20. that info certainly helped answer some of my questions thanks Gretchen & Al, I'm headed for the vice now!!
