  10. Been tying this mini streamer/stone for the last few seasons. It has been a real producer on our local water for steelhead. I tie it in sizes 8 through 12. Hope it brings much success for all anglers!

  12. This is a modified version of the KR Stone with thoracic gills.
  13. Thank you! Yes, black and olive seems to be a deadly combo for sure.
  14. I came up with this caddis pattern many years ago and fish it primarily for steelhead and salmon. A real buggy body with a small beard in the throat.
  15. This 'Chunky Monkey' is a close relative of the 'Holy Hare'. First pictured is the 'Chunky Monkey' and second pic is the "Holy Hare'.

  18. I have use this streamer for bass and trout but am looking forward to swinging it for salmon on the big rivers this fall. I call it the 'Holy Hare'. It is articulated and is actually a bit modified from the original 'Holy Hare.'

  20. If anyone has had success on this fly for steelhead and or salmon we would love to hear about it! Pics of your fish and numbers hooked would be great to share as well....This fly just simply works and I certainly hope it works as well for you as it has for me last season!
  21. Hello fly tiers and anglers alike... It has been a while since I have visited this site but am glad to be back! Just wanted to share with you a steelhead pattern that I came up with last year. I call it the 'Double Trouble' or aka 'Mardi Gras' egg fly. It has hooked a good number of Michigan steelhead and may work elsewhere as well. Hope it works as well for you as it has for me last season! All The Best, KMF
