Thanks for the replies. What little I have tied the tv is just background noise. I have tied a few wooley buggers so far but no room to put a desk for tying. Just seeing if someone had a better solution.

How many tie in your recliner watching tv? What do you set your vise on? Do you use a fly tying station or just a tray? Just started tying and wanting experienced opinions.
