My first vice was one my dad made back in the 70's, used it for 15 years or so. my next was a Terra Rotary. the Terra is kinda a cheapie, works good for now.

Howdy from the central coast of california. I'm Bryan,35, from Los Osos ca. I have been chuckin' flies for a little over 20 years and tyeing almost as long,the last 5 years or so i have really honed my skills at the vice, Thanks a lot to this board. A few times a year I hit up the trout, its not really my game, but i love backpacking in the sierras,gotta bring the long rod and rip some lips.

Lookin' to be part of this board, and getting into some swaps. I love to see other ties from folks.

I dont see other flies often, only on line really. I live over 100 miles from any fly shop,every now and then i get to get out a visit a fly shop,99% i am fishin' my own patterns.just trying to tie better.

I voted for other, barred surf perch, they put a serious bend in my 8 wt. . bsp are a good lookin fish, not to big, but super fun in the surf. my next guy would be Mr. grumpy the bucket mouth, large mouth bass bank robbin,throwing big bugs.
