  1. Mannn thats a good Northern. You should email me a picture if you have one. My buddy Tyler would DIE on the spot. HAHA. What state are you in?
  2. The rod situation was my biggest concern because I was thinking I might need something more then an 8 wt but if your using 8wt for floating then I'll be fine! I think I'm going to invest in a 10wt eventually before fall comes anyway so I'll be set there for when the big bite comes before winter. Around here where I live they catch 40-45in fish pretty frequently so its gonna be one for the books if I can accomplish it I think. Thanks for your help tho man and if your close to Indiana lemme know if you wanna go. I can arrange the rest.
  3. Let me know when you guys are doing your next smallie swap. I have a craw pattern I'd like to share and see what people think. Very simpe but effective.
  4. I would take it as a compliment bro and then give them your card and let them pay you for a few. I've got a cpl guys who like a certain carp pattern I whip up so I give em a few in exchange for some PBR or whatever brew their sippin on while were on the water. But sooner or later I'm convinced they'll want to start tying their own because of what I show them and thats what its really all about.
  5. I just got an itchin to cast about 10,000 times before I see some action. So Muskie it is. The one with the most casts before they die wins right?! But before I do so, I need some tips from anyone whose got some background in this please. I'm needing some advice on a rod setup and some good fall flies. LET THE POSTING BEGINNN . . .
  6. I started with a little cheapy vice a couple years ago and I thought it worked fine until I used a Regal. It holds a smaller hook so tight and I trashed my old one and bought a Regal Rotary and haven't used anything since but I'd like to get a new one that has some cradles and other add on possibilities.
