Yea, I have to sleep with my window open and my door closed just to stay comfortable in my log home, our propane fireplace heats this place very very well and fast, log homes of today are so well insulated its insane.

I agree with mcfly, I usually take a huge tackel box, and another med sized one on my trips, I think you could find something better at a lower price.

First welcome to the site. Very nice work on those flies, they will for sure land ya some fish. And I dig the zip tie on your busted ass sunrise vicce :headbang: Thats the same vice I started out tying on, and it served me well for a year. You have no clue what you have gotten yourself into, this is not a hobby or craft, but a sick addiction!!!!!

Here is a fishable realistic daddy longlegg I tied up, looks pretty simple, but the positioning of the leggs were a major pain in the butt, it basically consists of a #22 hook, with dubbing and deer hair for leggs.

Anything that will fish deep, go size 18-26, and go very very slow.

Yen, welcome to FTF!!!! I would first look up a hatch chart for the area that you plan to fish, then tie your flies based upon the information given on the chart, it may prove to be the most effective way to go, you can usually do a google search and find hatch charts for your area.
