Looks like a nice fly, I'm very new myself and when I hear people say a minute to tie I can't even believe it haha. I'm sure after some time it will come easier, I'm having a blast learning and trying different flies. It really is a great hobby/passion

I was tying right handed I did wrap it towards me ,I thought that's what I was supposed to do haha. Thanks for letting me know, I appreciate it. I'd prefer to do it the right way.

I appreciate the comments, the last one was supposed to be a wd40 but just sort of turned out the way it did. It's a lot of fun to mess around a little when you screw up. Thanks for the info, I had no idea there was a local forum for us albertans. I really like that they have a beginners forum here which is one of the main reasons I'm here. It an be a little intimidating asking silly questions in a main forum, some people don't have any patience and seem to forget that they were once new like myself. I've seen nothing but help from people on this forum and its great to see.

Hi everyone, I just came across this forum not long ago and have found it extremely helpful. Lots of great information here. I just started tying but have been fly fishing for a few years. I'm still learning and was happy to find that you welcome pics of ugly flies......well I sure wouldn't want to disappoint anyone so here we go!
