  2. Mikechell, you are correct. I start with 2" stock rip it in half so that the top and bottom is bookmatched to each other, then router the majority our and finish the final shape with a chisel. Piker, Let me know if you ever want a wood fly box! Vicrider, Thank you! I may have to do that!

  4. Its been a couple years since I last posted but I'm back. My latest design is called the orange peel. tied with moose, orange Imi seal dubbing, polypropylene, and black hackle.

  6. I just recently got the Copic airbrush system and am thinking about coloring popper heads. What do I put on the finished head to protect the coloration?
  7. I tie this popper with sheet foam. Its super easy to tie also
  8. A bass/pike pack I sold today. With a new foam popper I'm trying out.
  9. I just got the 4 wt. version and paired it with an Okuma 4 wt reel with Airflo fly line and Cortland backing. I love it so far!

  15. Been messing around with deer hair poppers and some divers.
  16. My latest commission work. Titled "Pacing the Prairie", over 200 cuts and 10 hours of work.
  17. Hahaha I'm working on that. Just got new stuff and is ready to be cut out.
  18. After two weeks of work it is finally done. Hand made frame using 40 year old black oak.
  19. Haha thank you! I am now in the process of building my own frame to fit the roper, Indian and barrel racer, i will post when i get it done.
  20. This is a barrel racer that I did on Sat and Sun. Over 140 individual cuts and around 9 hours from start to finish.
  21. Thank you every one. Mike, I am in the process of ordering new patterns that have fishing in them. Bryon, These are the 4th and 5th fret work that I've ever done. Patience is everything.

  23. These are my rough drafts for a scholarship coming up. Been spending lots of time lately at the scroll saw. I have another pattern being shipped along with many other projects in mind. I'm going to also be making custom frames for the pieces. They are both 9 x 11 inch pieces.
  24. I have not yet found any cutties yet. I did see a juvenile bull swimming with the brookies though.
