    FYI: iFishNews

Been a tough week getting out there to go fishing as well as getting the next iFishNews posted. Did take care of a few admin things... latest Vlog from the Team is posted. Do check it out! Vlog #4 - Admin Things. May be of interest to some Readers!
  2. Thanks, the pattern has worked well for us over the years; mostly in the local community lakes and ponds in our area. Tend to fish larger waters like our local lake using kayaks. Here are some archived posts from our archived blog and our current blog where we use the pattern for reference. Archived COAF Blog Posts. Stocker Trout Fishing Blog Posts
  3. Mowed the lawn with lots of daylight to spare! So, went fishing on a quick trip... But, on the first cast, hooked my thumb... no worries, "just a flesh wound". Caught several Sunfish and a Bluegill that went for a Foam Grasshopper. Using an online tip on hook removal and with a little help, was able to remove the hook with minimal pain! Vlog #3 - Quick Trip... "Just a Flesh Wound"
  4. Foam Grasshopper worked again Saturday morning! Vlog Video.
  5. Playing around with the camera and green screen. Put together Vlog #1 that shows the action at Sonic Pond using the Traditional III Fly Rod from Cabelas and a Foam Grasshopper! Video. Good to see the grasshopper pattern still works on Bass!

  12. Video is done from yesterday's fishing... Video.
  13. Fun time fishing with the Micro Fly Rod for small Bluegill and Sunfish. Also, put out the Water Wolf Camera to see what was lurking. Working on the video still but here is a snippet of a Catfish stealing our bait! Snippet.
  14. PS: Short video of the fish finder we used today. It is the Lowrance Hook 3x DSI. Really like the down scan imaging! Also, using the dry box to mount the fish finder and hold the battery pack and excess power/transducer line worked well today! Video clip. Did to see anyone fly fishing for them yesterday. But, may have been a good thing. We were finding them deeper and holding on a point. Started for Crappie but shifted to White Bass. Lots of fun! Sunday's Video.

  16. Kayak fishing this morning to test the new fish finder. Finally broke down and replaced the old one that still used pixels with a new one with down scan imaging. Big difference! Fishing action was slow but did get into White Bass boiling on the surface a one point. Did not fly fish for them but did see one fisherman in a "poke boat" doing well catching the on the fly! Today's Video.
  17. Fished a Near Deere and tested out the Periscope app to try live streaming. Need to stick with fishing! Video.

  19. Thanks agn54. The flounder ones are from John Skinner - surf fisherman and writer. Tough to get good video at the local lake where I am at. Too murky. Did try another lake today - Lake Texoma. It was not as clear as we have seen it to be in the past. Likely the heat of Summer maybe Struck out today but was good to see what was interested in the lures... still editing the video but here are two snapshots from today. Pictures. Video from yesterday is posted. Tough to see at times; water was murky.

  22. Video of yesterday's kayak fishing and pictures from today. Working on today's video still; will post when done. Did get one Keeper today! Post.
  23. More underwater video from a round of kayak fishing. Still editing the video. Murky conditions make it tough to see the strikes. Caught two fish only but did see others in clips so far. Including we think is a Gaspergou... tough to tell. Picture.
