  1. Joe Thanks. I think what I am going to do is tie up some with a dark and light body. I was able to observe the emergers during a major hatch last spring and took some notes on them. I plan to use dun antron or CDC for a wing pad and wood duck fibers as tails with some med brown zelon underneath the tails as a shuck. Merry Xmas
  2. I am trying to do some tying for next year and want to Tie some Hendrickson emergers. I have some ideas but on of the areas I am stuck is the body color and dubbing material. I have seen such variation form tan to reddish -brown and rust. Any help would be appreciated. Merry Xmas
  3. I want to tie some snowshoe rabbit hair emergers (e.g. Rosenberger emergers) All the recipes specify to use the under pad hair of the snowshoe rabbit. What are the most useful snowshoe foot rabbit colors to have for tying? :hyst: :hyst:
  4. I live in NJ and fish both Jersey and PA, The Grannon hatch ( dark caddis) is one of the major hatches. I was hoping someone could share some Grannon pattern recipes. I would br particularily intersted in the color schemes for the sparkle pupa & emerger and any effective adult & larva paterns. Thanks
