I have had good luck with my kodak p850. Only cost $259 on the web. 5.1 mp, 12x optical zoom, and I am not sure of the digital zoom. Works well for me the have some different lens attachments for around $150 a piece (ie... wide angle and telephoto) You get time check it out. JIM
