Continuing this series, in Part 2 I share an easy method to attach dropper flies above the point fly, plus give some sample situations in which this is encouraged. Feel free to share your thoughts and ideas, especially those that enjoy fishing droppers off of the leader. TC
Here's a great pattern that I want to share with everyone. This is Tracy Peterson's Skinny Nelson, which I explain everything regarding it in the video. What I want to stress, especially for beginning tyers, is the second half of the video, where I go through a couple variations of the Skinny Nelson. Varying a fly can be difficult if you are just started @ tying, thus why I spent some time there. Enjoy! TC
For all of the PA guys that are familiar with George Daniel (though many have undoubtedly read his book "Dynamic Nymphing"), here's a version of his GD's Czech Catnip. This fly is intended to be an anchor fly in Czech-style nymphing, and it definitely is heavy! I also vary the body color, as mentioned in the video. Hope you guys enjoy! TC
