heerefishyfishy 0 Report post Posted November 28, 2005 Does anybody here have a clue of where I can find a pattern for a slim jim (wet fly)? It has a red tail, grizzly hackle and brown feather of some sort. I'm in Arizona...my father in law in northern Maine has requested I tie him a few, but alas...no northern fly patterns in Arizona. *right* Any help is most appreciated! Redfox 0 Report post Posted December 4, 2005 Go to flyfisherman magazine web site fly patterns and type in slim jim. It has the picture and the directions on the northern maine fly. Nicely done. It is a great pattern. Any problem let me know.
