sage8wt 0 Report post Posted December 27, 2005 DAI-RIKI 305 DRY FLY - FLY TYING HOOKS (12 thru 22) Are they any good? Thanks, Sam In my experience I have found that Dai-Riki hooks are a great value. They are typically priced considerably lower than comparable hooks. I've not had experience tying on their dry fly hooks, however I do tie alot on their nymph and streamer hooks. GreenDrake 0 Report post Posted December 27, 2005 I tied exclusively with the Dai-Riki hooks for the last couple of years and never had a problem. I have probably gone through about 300 of the 305’s and they did what they were supposed to; catch fish! I switched to Tiemcos recently because I think they have a better variety of styles and they seem to have a more consistent step between sizes. You cant beat 50 hooks for six bucks! ashbourn 0 Report post Posted December 27, 2005 They have a bright finish and I feel the wire is kinda heavy. Not a bad hook, I have caught 100's of fish on them. Joe Fox
