I just added 4 more flies to my website, flytyingclips.com.

Two of them are from Mike Mercer and the other 2 are from Peter Koga.

Mike tweaks his flies for quite a while before he feels they are ready for production.

His Glint Nymph takes the "hot spot" concept up another notch and his Dark Biot Nymph

is a natural progression from his Golden Stonefly Nymph.

Peters flies are a variation of the clouser which he uses to chase the huge bones in flats along the Honolulu

International Airport, Hawai'i Kai and the windward side of Oahu.

Visit my website to see a 360 degree view of these flies. Just look under their respective names.

I e-mailed the owner, Herman deGala, and he just answered. Take a look at the links he included below:

<b><!--sizeo:3--><span style="font-size:12pt;line-height:100%"><!--/sizeo-->Click the fly images to turn them on and then move your cursor.<!--sizec--></span><!--/sizec--></b> They rotate for great views! Also, it takes a little time to load even with cable or DSL.

Hi Ray,

Glad you like my sight. I will be adding more flies and a couple of the flies are expanded into tutorials with streaming video and step by step instructions such as the link below.

<a href="http://www.flytyingclips.com/scudflip.html" target="_blank">Latex Scud</a>

<a href="http://www.flytyingclips.com/mysis.html" target="_blank">Mysis Shrimp</a>

As far as a plan or purpose, I am using it to showcase my multimedia, instructional design and web skills. I actually do this stuff for a living as an independent web and multimedia developer.

Thank You,

Herman deGala

Hi Flyman416,

I am the developer for this site and I can assure you that there is no adware, trojans, tracking cookies or spyware associated with this site.

I have kept it clean of any advertising or even tracking software such as Google Analytics.

I change my password on a regular basis and I am the only one posting content to the site.

Can't tell you why you are getting those flags from McAfee, but can tell you that you may need to do a little bit more research into both McAfee and Norton. (Ask a technician how he feels about those packages.) I have my clients running either Eset or Webroot(Colorado based company). I have no affiliation with either.

Hey Kimo, sorry had i known you were the developer i would have asked you first. But anyway im sixteen next month and dont know any techies, but i have a prrtty darn good geuss at why it thought it was a bad sight. And i think it was because it thought it was a bad sight since its owned by a single personell and didnt have any google aproved ads(making the sight trustworthy or something like that) it thought it must have viruses. Maybe. Thank you for telling me i was just making sure that i wouldnt get any viruses. I dont know correct me if im wrong About any of what i just said.

Sue Armstrong did a great job on the George Grant Woven Stonefly. Not many of those around!!! That looks "exactly" like the one I've got for the background on my computer!

Many beautiful flies; thanks for keeping your site up and running. I love visiting it.

Didn't scroll through the post to see if this was addressed, but I saw where they said you had to take a bunch of photos to work this and how it must take a long time. Can I guess you just shoot a video of it and pull frames out of that speeding up the process by a lot? Awesome website by the way!
