stel 0 Report post Posted April 7, 2004 Today we had a field trip to the upper boardman. The goal of this firled trip was to find out how fast the river was moving, how deep it was, the Ph of the river and what the oxygen was like. All came out good with neutral levels of Ph and the oxygen was high. My favorite part of the trip was when the teacher went out into the river and stuck a net down to the bottom of the river and collect bugs. Many stonefly nymphs, mayfly nms, a leach and a few other insects were collected. A very cool trip in deed. I wish I had my camera but I forgot it. With all the stuff we did, it looks like I am going to have some good trout waters to hit when the season opens and I am sooo excited:thumbsup: FTS
Guest Report post Posted April 7, 2004 Where did you guys sample? Keystone? If not, I sure would love to see the bugs coming from above there.

Guest Report post Posted April 8, 2004 Oh, you were way up there. Keystone Rapids is below Beitner Rd. I like the stretch between Shumsky and Beitner.
