I'm not sure who tied what so maybe the person who tied each one could reply saying which fly is theirs and what type of pet fur/feather they used....they look great guys, glad I got a few for me biggrin.gif

NICE TIES!!! Wish my ducks would have grown up quick enough for me to join, but oh well. If I would have joined, I wouldn`t have been able to catch the ducks. lol. Them are fast little suckers!!!lol. Tight lines and good tyin!-redneck

I tied the shrimp in the first pic with yellow lab hair

I really enjoyed this swap and would do it again in an instqant, I had a few more ideas for some other flies blink.gif wink.gif

But we wont tell the wives wink.gif

I tied a scud but the one pictured is olive tan- my cat is charcoal gray. My wife liked the work in the ties I received- wasn't real happy I didn't 'tell her' I was doing a swap sad.gif

 

Edit: Shows you what I was thinking, I never complimented you guys on your nice ties. Thanks!

Mine is tied with fibres from golden red spears fibres for the tail

(from Ra, my rooster, who lives at my girlfriend Julia's house now)

and the body is from Rob's dog Albie, a foxy coloured collie mongrel

The hackle is from Keet a pet guinea fowl poult (from the first moult)

Hook is a partridge L/S scud, thread yellow Uni 6/0

 

Thats the little softhackle
