canotstop24 0 Report post Posted April 11, 2010 Has anyone had experience fishing artic grayling? I live in Alaska and plan on driving north this summer to fish for grayling. I know I have the internet to look up info, but was looking for someone with river experience. Any tips on how or where to fish or flies to use. Thanks. flashback max 0 Report post Posted April 11, 2010 As far as flies I know it was hard to beat a fox squirrel nymph. Not as exciting as a dry fly, but will catch tons of grayling
TaTonka74 0 Report post Posted April 14, 2010 Down south in Alberta we use foam hoppers, the grayling attack them crazily.
Matt24 0 Report post Posted April 15, 2010 Elk hair caddis work great for them, copper johns work, most dry flies and nyphs should catch you fish
