By substituting your tail material you can tie this pattern in many color combinations.This is a great pattern for crappies. I have noticed that traditional crappie fishermen that fish with tube jigs keep an array of colors and switch colors if the bite tails off on the color they are using. Why should we as fly fishermen do any less.
