P&B Trude Variant SBS

Borrowed portions of the tying sequence (mainly the back end) for this H&L Variant modification from Charlie Craven’s GTH Variant.  How the hell he tied a split calf body hair wing and tail with 10/0 Gudebrod is beyond me; truly impressive.  P&B? - pronghorn and Bullwinkle; I can not tie nice looking bodies with stripped peacock herl so I subbed moose.

hook - Dai Riki 300 #10
thread - Uni 6/0 brown
tag - medium tinsel opal
tail - pronghorn hair white
body - moose mane; one light/one dark
collar - peacock herl
wing - pronghorn hair white
hackle - grizzly/brown

Mash barb/start thread at 2/3 mark; wrap partway down the bend
