Guest Report post Posted April 26, 2021 Robbed some blades from trailer pack and made couple outa plastic/foam balls. Click poppers with shrimp droppers work like spin click corks/ jigs used for specks and reds. They will cast with flyrod and not hit you in the back of the head mostly. Haven’t gotten to really catch reds/specks wit them yet....pics outa order The plopper blades made outa coffee stirrer tube, styrofoam ball, blade cut out plastic Easter egg Solarezed... Guest Report post Posted April 26, 2021 ChasinTails, if interested and not seen before also for the redfish there are but not in order: Spoons flies from the plastic Easter egg/Solarez Swimmer tails top and under using rehab elastic cut in circles Spinner flies and dressed jigs with tail spinner. Vibration in stained water. Pushes lots more water than lil propellers. Props are for top water.... I believe I saw those plopper tails at Dick's on clearance. i'll have to back today and see. I think those would work well on a 4/0 long shank 34007 and give a more consistent baitfish profile.
