  1. With the exception of ostrich and Mallard, it is extremely similar to my RAT fly, look it up on youtube
  2. I concour, Maybe sumore black too...
  3. No, I am taking Spanish as a second language in Arkansas,(US) and you mean you have still a long time to learn fly tying.... I think, English grammer is very confusing, so do not worry about it too much.
  4. Here we call it a hatch, or in your case mayfly hatch.
  5. You must be fishing in the northern part of europe, because you have added some purple to the body there. Great fly RexHunt!! Keep it up!!!
  6. When you say "Long way before me" do you mean something like a long way to go? Because I am taking spanish in highschool, and that is a literal interpretation of how Spanish is translated...
  7. You're welcome. The reason being is because, the fish/leeches that eat the eggs are a darter like fish, or a sculpin, which happens to love eggs. All of what you are immatating are a darker color, (so my guess) is that the efficiency of the fly would skyrocket.
  8. Actually the fly that inspired me was not as well tied as this one. But im sorry for the misuse of my words, I should have put that style of fly instead of that fly. However, that fly is a great example of the original.
  9. Intresting approach on an old favorite. Have you considered tying one up in an olive or black?
  10. Yes and thank you, GREAT Fly, I am now even more impressed with your fly.
  11. I like the simplicity and all around look of this one. Great head too!
  12. Well, this is not the fly alone, like in the picture above, it would be attached to another hook, and if the first hook fails on a strike, then the rear hook, circle hook, works fine. I like it because it is a bit more weedless than other hooks.
  13. Yes, and dont appologize, its not your fault. The ends of your wing feather, are they held together by anything?
  14. Hello all, Ive tied up a new idea for a trailer design. I used mono, wire, and Zap-A-Gap for sealant. Here are a few pics.
  15. I like your wing; is there any type of sealant on the tipps, or is that just well married?
  16. I like the use of the darker mallard, way to go!
  17. If you get a chance, you said that the ones further north of you are more purple? Try the UV ice dubbing in tan, its a Hairline Dubbin' product i beleive, i use it on my purple haze pattern, which is a local sowbug (isopod) that has a purple tint to it, its a killer dubbing. Pick some up next time you get a chance.
