  2. That book is great if you all ready know what your doing .. But if dont ..Well it does not tell HOW TO tie the fly i have been winging IT LOL I have no idea what iam doing lol i just started

  5. this is my 8 fly i tied.Iam just having fun ! i see all this stuff i can use and just but some thing together. i tried to follow a pattern but that didnt work lol Iam going to start watching more videos!! Thanks to every body !!!! iam realy learning alot from you guys!!! i wished i started this SOONER

I saw feathers that realy cool they were red and black And i wondered what i could tie them on !!I have a book on fly patterns by randall kaufmann theres 3500 pattens in the book and i saw a baby wolly bugger tied by ken menard .And i thought i will make my own version of the baby wooly bugger using the feathers I uesd black marabou and black flash in the tail and for the body ice chocolate brown and copper wire!

  12. I tied a wooly bugger ..I dont know if its good .. here it is
  13. Metz i have 4 bags of it ...It look like the right stuff LOL I used a number2 saddle grizzy and for the wings was a number1 hen neck grizzly
  14. LOL the wooly bugger was the first .....And its a KEEPER lol Oh its SO nice

This is some of the stuff that was in the rubber maids TRIM, FEATHERS OF ALL KINDS, EP FIBERS ALL DIFFERNT KINDS ANADROMUS BUUSH MALLARD FLANKS ROOSTER COCK TAILS SADDLE HACKLES OF ALL KINDS FUR YOU NAME IT ITS THERE RABBIT STRIPS ALL KINDS OF DUBBING ALL KINDS OF YARN LOTS LOTS OF THREAD BEADS HOOKS OF ALL SIZES MANY BOXES I have about 60 to 70 plastic round containers full eys ,chenille, hooks ,and more dubbing there was about 5 full very large ruber maids And iam running out of room!! and i still haven't but it all away!! i what to join a club and mybe some can look at this stuff and say this is for that And this is for ....what ever This is my 3 week tying .. and I am looking at this stuff going now what ! I have tied 6 flys so far the frist one WAS A KEEPER LOL !!!! I was going to post it but didn't want anyone to get HURT LOL
  17. Well thaxs!!! but thats just the bench I have rubber maids full . This guy pasted way and they where selling all of it .I said to them i well take it all . I pick all of this for 800.00 and i pick up a new renzetti vise . Thers so much stuff iam just not sure whats its all for . I will take a picture later and you well see ! I think he was in to big game fish . I wanted to join a club .And have some go over tHis stuff with me.And show me whats its for . And i have tools i have not seen anyone use yet in videos!
  18. Thaxs LOL i did use a hair stacker but when i got the hair to the hook WELL ......you know !! I bought rubber maids full of fly tying stuff !! Now iam just tying and reading . And i have fly tying tools i have know idea how to use yet LOL

  21. Iused deer hair and orange poly yarn and gold tin. IAm just using stuff i have this is my 6 fly that i have tied. Any help would be good thax TOM
  22. Is there any clubs around newham burg!! And where i could get some good videos on fly tying to watch! :headbang:
