Yea, it's sad what that river has gone to. I remember fishing with my dad in this one spot and didn't see much garbage. This year, it was all over. I did however make some money on the beer cans return. Now I know why I have been concentrating on the west rivers. Don't think I will head to that river for awhile again.
Hey Pat,
So far my plans are open. Except for hitting the books. I never have shot a muzzleloader but would be interested in learning. To answer you question on M-S, I am pretty sure the boardman is not a good choice. They only passed 4 fish the whole year at the wier. My buddy who fishes the river everyday didn't see many steelies jump the ladder when they opened the wier and I know below the wier, there is only about 3/4 to a mile to float. I haven't done it, but surf fishing might be a possibility or the betsie, platte, ect. This week I am going to ty up a whole bunch of spawn bags for next week. I will let you know how I do.
Talk to you guys later
