Here is my daughter (at 6 months) doing a little steelie fishing. She loves it. Now she is almost 4 and she asks me when I'm going to teach her how to tie "fries". Well, it's almost time for some fry tying! I was 5 when my grandfather sat me on his lap in front of the vise and held my chubby hands while I "tied" my first flies. Now, 35 years later, I can tie my own with my big chubby hands, LOL. BTW, from the look on her face, I think she disapproved of your choice in tackle. LOL.

I can't speak of the spider odyssey, but, after 32 years of tying on a thompson A, (yeah, I'm a creature of habit. My grandfather told me that was the best vise on the market, and that it could never be improved upon....) I went out and got the Griffin Mongoose, mainly as an experiment to see if I could even adapt to a rotary vise. I've tied quite a few 20, 22, and 24's on the Mongoose now, and really love it. I'll say that I have nothing but good things to say about the Griffin tools. I'd also like to say that, after seeing that picture, you should cheer up. Things will get better, LOL.

I work in that area, and I'm going to try and quit early on Friday and stop by.
