  1. I picked up a "grab bag" of hair patches and tail material for $12 at Sportsman's Warehouse....Appears to be good quality selection of assorted natural and dyed material. While I am able to ID for most obvious pieces (Deer Hair, squirrel tail, etc), some of these pieces are not as easy to identify. Is their a good guide somewhere that would help me, and perhaps includes the pros/cons of each material?
  2. Yeah, the Renzetti part is ridiculously expensive...it's 50% more than I paid for entire vise when I bought it. The modification shown above is great...thanks for including it. I already got an email reply offering me a new set for a very reasonable price that I've accepted. Thanks Kimo!
  3. I'm looking for replacement cam jaws for a Renzetti Traveler. Mine has the original screw type jaws, and I'd like to replace them with cam-style jaws. Does anyone know an online source that sells them directly?
  4. I have to ask...what makes this a "right-handed" vise? Can't a left-hander just turn the base 180 degrees?
  5. It'a matter of preference. I have an older Renzetti traveler with the screw jaws and I'm fine with it...in very short order, you'll be able to quickly develop an intuitive sense of how tight to adjust the jaws for a given hook. That being said, I got a Nor-vise for Christmas and I really like the cam jaws on it.
