  1. Man! Too bad you can't muster up some enthusiasm! My oldest is going to Tech, so I'm sure we'll be headed your way before too long. I may just give you a shout!
  2. That's a great looking bug... I gotta stop reading these forums, it's beginning to cost me lots of bucks! If there was only a 12 step program for 'fur and feathers'!!! On the other hand... Nah !! Where do you hunt brookies? They're my absolute favorite fish. What a great fish!! Thanks for sharing those bugs!!!
  3. Right! It was the FLUX CAPACITOR!!! (I suspected so all along!)
  4. I'm sure I'm opening the proverbial can o'worms, but what are the benefits of the tube fly? I guess I'm just more used to the traditional tied flys on hooks... Just curious...
  5. Just FWIW I think I first read this article in a magazine, but it stuck in my mind. Obviously, folks have caught fish on 'traditional' SJW's, but here's another experience... http://www.landbigfish.com/articles/default.cfm?ID=1930
  6. Dick Talleur!! How bad would it be to be in class w/Mr.Talleur!?!?! Awesome! I'll bet that was a gas!
  7. Those 'rolling-tupperware-chests' are pretty good. I started out with one large one, now I'm up to three, and shopping for number 4! I don't have enough room for a dedicated tying bench, so I gather the materials I need for the pattern 'du jour', and head to the desk or dining-room or coffee table. If it comes down to tying or not, I'll take the roller-boxes!!! Happy tying!!
