Glad to be among you folks. I am new to fly tying, for sure, but I am anxious to learn a few bream and crappie (minnow) patterns to use around here. This area is not known for fly fishing, and that's a pity.

Nevertheless, I plan to enjoy it here.

Age is not a relevant factor in fly tying. All ages in this group. Have fun and learn lots. Check the species index and click on the type of fishing fly you are looking for under type of fish. 60 patterns for Bream.

I think that makes you the fourth Louisianan registered on the site. I'm on the diagonal from you down in southwest Louisiana, in Lake Charles. Welcome.
