Thought I would share some classic fish porn from that winter on our steelhead waters.

 

Clearly our tribs suck, So many people, horrible water conditions, and miniture glaciers everywhere.

What fly did it come to? Egg pattern or stone fly? Trib looks a little tiny to swing flys. Nice fish regardless of what destination it was taken from.

This fish actually took a fly swinging it was the white and purple bunny spey that I had posted a little while ago. It was from two years ago. It is a smaller trib but the second largest of the great lakes along lake erie.

Nice I have seen the fly you speak on this site before and it looked like a good pattern this picture only further emphasise what a good pattern it is. I might ties some up before this weekends trip. Swinging with the single hand rod?

Yeah Swinging with the single hander the spey is alittle to long for this creek.
