Did you partially strip the quill on an ostrich herl for the middle fly in the first pic and the other pics to the right? It looks great and really adds to the fishyness in my eyes. Astute/Perceptive Observations re: The ostrich herl with partiall removed flue.....it is partialllly stripped ostrich....its does move seductively in the water... I gently/sparsely apply thinned flexament @ the base for durability howver these "antennae" do get destroyed after a say 8 stripers or so (or a few teethy large browns--I have yet to catch a steelhead but one day) Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
