Mokai 0 Report post Posted April 4, 2007 I am a big fan of Stonefly Nymphs for trout..Here is my favorite pattern that I came up with..I used Swiss Straw for the back to give it a good look and some durability..It seems to hold up well and really catches the trout.. ditchmonkey 0 Report post Posted April 15, 2007 a buddy of mine makes these little leather pieces, theyre great, really durable, and add a little more weight than other materials, ive done them in little yella stones and just yer standard black, heres how they turn out. a little yella. standard black(i reversed the back part for some reason, but it still fishes!)
