maddog48 0 Report post Posted November 16, 2007 Zebra midge with wine colored thread with copper wire and copper T-bead coated with Loc-Tite super glue from Wal-Mart. It's caught fish everywhere I've used it. I tie it in sizes 14-20 on a TMC2457 or 2487 hook. Mike

The Goat 0 Report post Posted November 17, 2007 Thanks guys! There are a few flies in there that I'd like to have some pics of, but I get the general idea. Been mostly tying antron winged midges with a grizzly hackle in tan and black in #'s 20-24, and cdc loop-wings in the same colors and sizes. Some thread midges, and some with larva lace. And a few tiny things with wingcases and legs... Purely experimental for me. Never really fished midges before, and can't wait to get out in the cold this winter and throw tiny stuff.
