Linesides 0 Report post Posted December 2, 2007 I tied up these blondes for the Santa Swap and I think I am tieng the upper and lower wing too long. Anyone have any feedback on blondes? My pattern book says 1 1/2 to 2 times hook length but it seems too long. I tie mainly on 1/0 3407 and 34007 Mustad hooks. Thanks Dave Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

I remember seeing a couple of great links (posted by Joe/"Cornmuse") regarding tying the blond series of flies.
