willowhead 0 Report post Posted April 30, 2008 Nice fly.......there are so many different patterns of this fly.........i can't keep 'em all straight. Gotta say, i love 'em all. Shrimp patterns are just so cool. INCLUDING alllllllllllll Spey flies for that matter. I'd tye the tippet fibers in a littlle longer on this pattern..........out to the bend of the hook. Speyman1 0 Report post Posted April 30, 2008 Hi Hermelin Great fly, Willowhead is spot on about the tippet coming further back to the bend of the hook,also you want to a tippet that is long enough in length so that the black raachis lines up at the rear of the barb of the hook and about mid-point of the body.
