bounty hunter 0 Report post Posted April 13, 2009 I saw Lefty tie a Bugger at a show a few years ago and I tie all of mine that way now. The way he does them the hackle stem is in between 2 layers of chenille and twisted in a tight rope. Have never had a hackle break doing them this way.
