Tybugs1 0 Report post Posted December 24, 2009 Headed out for an Outing in the Wilds of Wyoming. My new frontier! I found these antelope in the lowlands. I have not hunted Antelope alot but I think this is approaching trophy status. Just a little lanscape heading up into the mountains looking for Mulies. When you get up top--well there isn't alot sometimes except a lone tree or two. I did find some Mulies but not the big ones. They did pose nicely for the picture however. Enjoy the pictures. Feedback is always encourged positive or negative. Still trying to learn all this stuff. Lynn
WYKnot 0 Report post Posted December 24, 2009 Very nice Lynn, glad to see you are out enjoying your new back yard. Think about submitting some images to Game & Fish for their annual photo contest, rules are on their website or in one of the fall isses of Wyoming Wildlife. Tybugs1 0 Report post Posted January 15, 2010 Those are some really nice photos. What kind of camera do you use? Are you doing any post produciton on them other than the signature tag? Hi David thanks for the kind words and glad you liked them. I shoot a D300. I had the 80X400 lense on at the time. The first photo I did some post production. I added some saturation to the grass. It was kind of flat in the photo. It's now more like what my eye was seeing. I was struggling trying to get the shot and exposure and composition all at the same time He didnt like me this close and kept moving The others are as is other than the signature tag. David Legg 0 Report post Posted January 16, 2010 The color saturation is pretty intense in all the shots. One thing I see on my monitor, but probably doesn't show in the original uncompressed images is some posterization that is mosty visible in the sky. How do the originals look? Is the blue completely unbanded, or does it separate into arcs of different shades of blue?
BigDaddyHub 0 Report post Posted January 16, 2010 good gosh a'mighty! That goat does look trophy class! Beautiful shots! Simply beautiful! There's so much concrete and steel here in the East....depressing when one sees images like these.
