akseymour80 0 Report post Posted March 6, 2010 Hey everyone. My name is Adam. I live in south western pa. I have been fly fishing for 7 years, only the last 3 should count, because before that I had not the slightest clue. I've been tying for 4 years and still don' know much, but it will come with time. I'm looking forward to making new friendsand swapping stories, so until then, go drown some flies!
Floyd 0 Report post Posted March 7, 2010 Welcome Adam. Lots of really good fly tiers on this site, and all will help you if you ask a question about something you don't know. :headbang:
Guest Report post Posted March 7, 2010 From one S.W. PA fly flicker to another, welcome to the forum Adam. The trick to tying is to develop the basic skills well. After that you can tie almost any fly. This is one hobby that the term "practice makes perfect" has some real meaning. The more you tie the better you get. And you can get really good in a very short time. Good luck.
