Carolina Fly 0 Report post Posted September 26, 2010 I recently found a pond that is swarming with these . The bass were really after them; jumping out of the water eating them. So I thought I'd give it a shot ... There are plenty of great dragonfly patterns out there but I wanted to do something a bit different . Inspired by the old balsa gliders I used to play with when I was a kid . Reference Then hit it with some Clear Cure Goo . Nice buggy, glossy finish . - Thomas

Crackleback 0 Report post Posted September 28, 2010 That's pretty cool. How well does it cast? Mike
JSzymczyk 0 Report post Posted October 1, 2010 That's a really cool creation. I'm pretty sure it's going to be miserable to cast if you intend to fish with it.
Beer980 0 Report post Posted October 2, 2010 Yea I was thinking nice job but how to cast it. Maybe you need a new style like the circle cast. Circle it in the air adding line then land it on the water.

I envision LOTS of leader twist, Joel. I do like the creativity with the bosy construction....may have to play with that motion myself.
