Boron11mx 0 Report post Posted December 23, 2011 Thanks for the compliments. These flies are good for Bows, Steelies and Salmon up here.

tidewaterfly 0 Report post Posted December 25, 2011 Jody, those look great! I've become a fan of that type of fly for stream bass. The first fly & the third would be great for Smallmouths I think!
Boron11mx 0 Report post Posted December 25, 2011 Thank You and yes I think they would work for smallies as well. Have you ever fished a Dahli Lama for them? I would think that an olive and white one would work great.
tidewaterfly 0 Report post Posted December 25, 2011 Jody, I had to search for that pattern, as I was not familiar with it. No, I have not tried that particular fly, but have used double bunny streamers, and olive over white is a favorite of mine. I'm sure it would work very well! Boron11mx 0 Report post Posted December 26, 2011 It is a must have here in Alaska. I have caught fish on it all times of the year and almost every species here, Bows, Greyling, Salmon. Being an old bass fisherman I would definetly fish it right along side the bunny leech.
