uncletube 0 Report post Posted December 1, 2004 I have been reading Ray Bergman's book " Trout" and doing a little research into the history of the wet fly. I have, in the course of this research, developed a fondness for this sometimes overlooked style of fly and being an avid tier and old fart. I Thought it would be a good idea to see how many of my peers might want to join in and share their favorite wet pattern. The pattern doesn't have to be one of Bergmans, Although the older the better. Size 10 sounds good. The fly must have a wing either fiber, quill, or hackle tip. No bead heads. No nymphs. Due Feb 1 . Limit first 12 tiers, and of course. the usual rules apply Any takers? Tube

There's plenty of deadline, so I'll jump in at twelfth spot only, in case somebody wants to push me out.
