Kirk Dietrich 0 Report post Posted December 9, 2012 Anyone have the Sports Afield June issue from 1984? There is an article on bug making in there that I'd like to own. Only one I could find on-line is the August issue from that year. Thanks, Kirk

Kirk Dietrich 0 Report post Posted December 10, 2012 Thanks Ben, I placed the order. I hope a finders fee of a few extra flies in the swap will be good. Thanks again, Kirk
Chefben4 0 Report post Posted December 10, 2012 Haha no worries Kirk. Glad I could help. Now you just have to tell us what this article this is you are talking about
Kirk Dietrich 0 Report post Posted December 10, 2012 Not sure who the author is, the copy someone sent me is cut off in places which is why I wanted the original. It is about Peck and Accardo and how they developed their popping bug business, the patents they had and includes some history on bug making. If I can scan and post it, I will or at least send you a scanned copy of the article. They have some good pics of the old bugs Pecks used to make with the wings and stuff that look like moths and other kind of bugs. Kirk

I never wouldve saw it because it was a year before I was born
