utyer 0 Report post Posted August 12, 2013 I couldn't help but notice that your vise is positioned at a very unusual angle. The jaws are almost straight up. Not that this is WRONG, but quite a different position than most people use. Is there a reason for this jaw position? A couple of other things I noticed are an area that is much too tidy, and a phone. Hopefully you just cleaned up for the pictures. Maybe its just me, but the LAST thing I want on my tying area is a phone (computer yes,) but phone no.
Dahoffman72 0 Report post Posted August 12, 2013 Utyer, you are correct, I did clean up a lot for the photo, besides it is fishing season here in Alaska, tying season comes after the snow fall (typically next end of month). The vice is not setup for tying at the moment, due to beinbg lefthanded and a noob I have a need to set it each time I tie based on fly size, type etc. As for the phone; though it seldom rings, it never rings for me, your right I should move it. Thanks for the input, Dave
feathers5 0 Report post Posted August 12, 2013 It's a nice start for your tying area. It's your phone and you can put it anywhere you want. Hey post your phone number here and see how many people call you.
